The story's that there's this boy who's persecuted against and locked up in barracks like during the Holocaust, but one day he meets a girl outside the fence who he falls in love with. They communicate by throwing folded-up letters over the fence by folding them into paper airplanes.

Well, the girl has a muscle disorder/sickness that keeps her from moving well so she always has to stay in the hospital.

When her father finds out she's visiting the boy he gets angry and throws away the letters she collected from the boy. She sad that her father can't understand.

One day she hears that soon she won't be able to walk anymore and she'll die soon, she goes to the boy and sends him a letter that tells him that she has to move far away. She tries not to cry in front of the boy. The boy asks why she has to leave and says he'll be waiting for her to come back.

One day, the girl starts dying and can't move at all. Her father freaks out and gets really mad, and so he goes to the boy and rips his letters. The boy gets mad and tries to punch him, but her father sends him into the gas chambers to die.

Meanwhile, the girl begins to die from her disease. As she dies, she wishes for the boy to live on. Then she dies.

And then, when they're dead, the fence that divides them is gone and since then, they're always together.
